Danielle is a free surfer and an ambassador for Stewart Surfboards and Birdom Surfboards.

She works as a content creator and broadcast captioner providing transcription services to the Deaf and hard of hearing community.

She is a co-founder of Textured Waves, a surf collective created to promote the sport of surfing towards women of color with an aim to shift the narrative in modern day surf culture.

When she is not in the water she can be found gardening, swimming and hiking with her family where she resides in Southern California.

Danielle was named Constituent of the Month by U.S. Representative Mike Levin for her work in diversity and activism in 2020. She has been honored to work with top international brands such as ROXY, Audi, Shiseido, Chase, Marriott, Kona Brewing, VANS, Adidas, Lucky Brand, Sun Bum, GoPro and Adobe to name a few. She has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, SURFER, Shape, Surfgirl, Sunset, Lost Not Found magazines and Women Making Waves and Skate Like a Girl books.

Danielle has worked with leading organizations in the surf community such as Stoked Mentoring, Chill Foundation, Un Mar de Colores, Wahine Project, Las Sirenitas, Paddle for Peace, Black Surfers Collective, Native Like Water, Laru Beya Collective, Groundwell Community Project, WOMP, Surfrider Foundation and more. She currently sits on the board of directors of the Chill Foundation and is a founding committee member of Soho House Cities Without Houses, San Diego.
